Mohamed Noman Galal
Dr. Galal is
a veteran Egyptian diplomat and internationally
recognized scholar. His
diplomatic posts have included representing Egypt as an Ambassador to
China and to Pakistan, as well as Permanent Representative to the Arab League and
Deputy Chief of the mission to the United Nations.
He
contributes to a number of newspapers in Egypt and the
Middle East. Over the past 30 years he has authored 28 books covering a
breadth of topics, including: International Affairs, Diplomacy, Human
Rights, and Islam. He has published tens of papers over the decades that
have appeared in journals worldwide.
Most
recently he has been serving as an Advisor to the Bahrain Center for
Studies and Research in the field of International strategic studies and Dialogue of Civilizations program
as well as a member of Egypt's National Council on Human
Rights dedicated to promoting awareness and protection of Human rights in Egypt.
